For He is the living God,
And steadfast forever;
His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed,
And His dominion shall endure to the end.
He delivers and rescues,
And He works signs and wonders
In heaven and on earth,
Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

It seems that today there are rulers of nations who believe they can dictate and seal Israel's fate, and even take from Israel that which God alone is able to give. These rulers, like the governors and satraps in Daniel's day who sought glory for themselves, are essentially throwing Israel into the lions' den, mocking the God of Israel, taunting the God in whom they do not yet believe to save Israel now. Pray for peace in Jerusalem, pray for divine wisdom and protection for Benjamin Netanyahu, pray that the eyes and hearts of the people of Israel are opened to Yeshua their Messiah, as were the eyes and heart of King Nebuchadnezzar opened to God. Nothing is too difficult for the living God.
